all the cops burst into tears of joy when it’s announced we’re in a police state

welcome back to the malamiko industrial complex (volume 9). what a fucking hellscape this year has been…

2 or 3 years ago, we wrote a bunch of songs about how shitty the world was and put an album out. The world continued to get worse, so we wrote even more songs. Next week, we begin recording our second album. It’s a strange time to do anything that isn’t directly community driven, but who’s to say things won’t be even worse next month :)(:

btw, if you didn’t hear, there has been a federal occupation of minnesota. i’ve written and rewritten drafts to address the situation, but i can’t succinctly put all of my thoughts into a blog without this turning into a full length essay.

please help in any way you can — get involved, take a training, donate! donate! donate!, ask your neighbors if they are being taken care of, etc. there is so much that can be done (regardless of where you live).
