...and what difference does it make if the world is a mess?

hello and welcome once again to the malamiko industrial complex newsletter (volume 2). i'm still trying to figure out the hellscape that is creating and sending a newsletter through a webservice so i don't have to bcc everyone like a heathen, but for now we are sticking with this.... AHHHHHHHHH

updates: we have a bunch of new merch! tapes are back in stock, a bunch of silly stickers, and a very cool new shirt design by zack stewart (who also designed our logo).

we did a photo shoot with alana wool recently and they turned out so well! the last photos were polaroids shot last minute before our album announcement so we are so glad to have some proper band pics.

okay speaking of which, our album came out one year ago this month. it’s strange to reflect on… i don’t think we had many expectations for this record going into it. i believe it was the first time recording something that substantial of a project for all three of us, so therefore we just assumed we would sink a thousand or so dollars into a passion project and hopefully we wouldn’t have a box full of tapes that no one wants at the end of the day. genuinely, thank you all for connecting and sharing with us. we have learned so much, met so many wonderful people, and reached a lot of great milestones over the past year.

bonus things:

-our friend aly eleanor is releasing an album today featuring daisy and a bunch of our friends <3
